Glasgow Epeeists Fencing Club
Épée Fencing for All Ages & Levels
Teaching epee and sport fencing to all ages and levels in the heart of Glasgow
Glasgow's Premier Epee Fencing Club
One of only four fencing salles in Scotland and the only training centre dedicated solely to epee

Established in 2014, our fencing club was started by one woman, born from a love of epee fencing, and has been a family enterprise for over a decade. Run by husband-and-wife team "The Jamiesons," we foster a genuinely friendly, welcoming, and inclusive environment for everyone, from complete beginners to those ranked in the UK's top 50. We welcome children (ages 8 and up) and adults to train together twice a week, and also offer a class for younger fencers, ages 4 and up. We believe that actions speak louder than words and that the best revenge is massive success. If you show up and try your hardest, you may surprise yourself.
Classes &
Coaching
We run classes every Wednesday and Friday at our salle in Glasgow G20 9ED — suitable for all ages and abilities.

Mixed Ability Bladework
Our main Wednesday evening class combining warm-up, footwork, bladework, and sparring. Beginners and experienced fencers welcome. Doors open at 6pm.
Beginner Fencing Class
A structured introduction to epee fencing for children aged 8+ and adults. The class format is similar to the Wednesday class but in a shorter two-hour session.
Plastic Fencing Class
Our younger children's fencing class uses plastic swords and masks in a mix of fencing footwork, bladework, sparring, games, and other activities.
Taster Sessions can be booked Monday – Sunday 10:00–22:00 (excluding class times). Minimum 2 people, maximum 12 people. £30 per person. Contact us to book.
